Mask Mandate Dropped for Vaccinated Guests at Disney Parks

It was announced yesterday that Disneyland and Walt Disney World’s indoor mask mandates will end for guests vaccinated against COVID-19, starting on Thursday, February 17, 2022. This comes after Universal Parks & Resorts and SeaWorld Parks announced an end to their mask mandates.

Masks are still required for guests who are not vaccinated against COVID-19. However, Disney does not checking for proof of vaccination at any of their parks in the United States. Unvaccinated guests are expected to follow the new guidelines based on the honor system.

This new policy applies to the theme parks, Downtown Disney, Disney Springs and the resort hotels. However, all guests are still required to wear a mask on enclosed public transportation vehicles, such as on monorails, buses and the Disney Skyliner.
